Lymphatic Drainage in Madrid

“For tired legs, fluid retention and that heavy feeling that just won’t go away”

Lymphatic drainage in Madrid comes in two forms: manual, a gentle, rhythmic technique that stimulates the lymphatic system, or pressotherapy, an equipment-based treatment that works the legs through compression. At our center on Calle Justiniano you can choose either one, from €40.

How much does lymphatic drainage cost in Madrid?

€40 for a 40-minute pressotherapy session and €65 for a 60-minute manual lymphatic drainage. They are two different techniques, not two versions of the same thing.

If it’s your first time and you want to try it out, pressotherapy is the most affordable way in. If you’re after more detailed, personalized work, go for manual.

The two techniques

Manual or pressotherapy: what’s the difference?

“One is done by hands, the other by a machine. Both drain”

Manual drainage is a very gentle massage with almost no pressure, using rhythmic movements that follow the path of the lymph. It’s done with aromatic oils, and the therapist adapts the sequence to wherever you feel the retention. It’s the go-to technique for localized swelling.

Pressotherapy uses boots that apply compression in sections, from the bottom up. It’s more mechanical and less personalized, but very effective for tired legs and end-of-day fluid retention, and it’s shorter and less expensive.

Tired legs

The most common reason people book. You leave feeling lighter.

Fluid retention

Both techniques help the body eliminate fluids. How much you notice varies from person to person.

After travel or long days on your feet

Long flights or full days standing are the typical case.

Before you book

Good to know

“This is a wellness treatment, not a medical one”

See availability

Neither manual drainage nor pressotherapy replaces medical treatment. If you have been diagnosed with venous insufficiency, lymphedema, thrombosis, heart or kidney problems, or if you are pregnant, contact us before booking and we’ll assess whether it’s suitable or whether you should check with your doctor first.

On frequency: a single session relieves heaviness for a few days. When you want a lasting effect, the usual approach is a course of several sessions in a row rather than a one-off.

It’s a good idea to drink water after your session and not to schedule it right after a heavy meal.
